Help The Children Of War.

Shattered Mirror

A shattered mirror
Crib in the corner
Mother walking through the rubble
A child terrified
The price of war

When will we learn?
A child with blood covering them
Like a blanket of death
The innocent victims of greed
Power hungry fools

Rage over powering my soul
How dare they
Feeble excuses
They had no right
Where was truth?

You held me in your dreams at night
When I was afraid you soothed me
You came to my mind every time I was scared
Whispering hope
Like an angel

I always felt your Love
You want me to grow up and tell what happened
They should never forget what they did
You touched me with your love
I am with you

You crawl into my spirit
Your beauty caresses my passion
When you hold me in your arms
I am filled with tears of joy
You are my courage

Filling my days with wonder
I can find my way through the day knowing
When I sleep you will be there
In my dreams
I know you

I know her
She reaches into the sacred depths of my thoughts
Her mind is one with mine
She is a child of my soul
I can reach into her thoughts
She into mine

Over the distance of time and space
Her sorrow reaches my heart
Her being fills the most precious part of me
Tears flowing like the memories of war
A tidal wave of excruciating pain

Witness of unfathomable terror
Haunting my memory
She will carry the past for a lifetime
Never faltering in her memories
She is a daughter of the universe

I carry her into my dreams

Unforgettable for eternity

If someone is doing something that is criminal then asking them to go AWOL would not be a crime. The war in Iraq is illegal so helping the Soldiers would be the correct thing to do in spite of what anyone would think. The World Tribunal and other organizations have condemned the American Government and believe that they should be tried for Crimes against Humanity.

Soldiers are ordered to do things that are crimes against Humanity. Going AWOL is just saying they will no longer participate in criminal activities.  If someone was ordering you to commit crimes wouldn’t you leave? I certainly would. There is being patriotic and then there is just being stupid.

I have read tons of stuff from soldiers that are now opposed to the War for many reasons and have been appalled by some of the atrocities that have occurred. I must say those who have come forward to report Human rights violations are courageous and obviously know better then anyone what has happened.

Maybe people should start listening to what those Soldiers are saying. I do. I have read numerous reports the Soldiers have put out for the world to read.

It’s either the soldiers go AWOL or be tried for crimes against Humanity at a latter date. As the Nazis have and still are being prosecuted for.

If someone ordered you to kill someone and you knew it was illegal to do so would you?

If you were ordered to torture someone and you knew it was illegal would you?

Like I said there is being patriotic and there is following blindly.
